Report from an OT spectator:
The OTs dominated throughout against Bradfield last Saturday. The match was won in the first half. With the midfield controlling the game, the OT forwards were able to create chances. The team played a confident passing game and dominated the set pieces, scoring three headers from corners, Hain-Cole (2) J Tennant (1). The other goal was scored by a Lockwood volley from a Dickie Tennant cross.
Shortly before the match the OT goalkeeper withdrew. The back four seemed determined to protect the replacement, Side, (normally an outfield player) and would not let the ball anywhere near him. During the second half Bradfield dug in and conceded only one goal from another corner by Lockwood put away efficiently by Cook.
It is a matter of regret that the crowd (numbering 5) was not larger: the match was enjoyable to watch with high skill levels and adventurous play. This was the fifth win in a row for the OTs.
